Friendly, clean, and community-based library. They have a FANTASTIC kids area (pretty much sound-proof) with storytelling, educational toys, TONS of books for all levels of readers, and book fairs. The main section section of the library has several computers with internet provided, a big DVD selection, and engaging displays.

Very noisy. Children allowed to run thru adult section while getting to children's area. Children's area appears to be well done but needs to be near front door without so many child distractions. There is a quiet computer room that has cpl of places for quiet study. But ppl talk on phones and with each other. Reference librarians are snooty except for one woman. Reference librians seem sit and gossip two at a time. Don't ask one ref librian a question just B4 she goes on break, she won't help then we must repeat our request all over again. Front desk is staffed with warm friendly people knowledgeable and efficient. Reference librarians need lessons in kindness.

I have been going here for over ten years, librarians are knowledgeable, kind, and patient. They host numerous free programs from help with financing and a knitting club for adults, to book clubs for teens, to a summer reading program and movie days for kids. Wonderful selection of books, technology for the public to use, just a godsend for students, families, and adults who want a quiet place to relax and gain knowledge

This library is great! I get the books I need and they have an excellent kids library. The story times that they put on are great too. I have been to several Austin library story times and this one caters to the child at their appropriate developmental level more than any other library.

Cedar Park Public Library has a limited supply of books, it's noisy, and unsanitary. First off, there is only one floor and not a good variety of books. Secondly, it's extremely noisy and there is many loud children. I highly suggest that if you need to study in a quiet area this is not the place to be. In addition, it's highly unsanitary and not cleaned properly. I remember when I went to go and search for a book the keyboard was super sticky and not clean at all. In my opinion I thought the staff were genuinely nice and considerate, but nothing outstanding. My overall experience with Cedar Park Library did not meet my expectations to the full extent.
