You may not always do research, but when you do, you use the Life Science Library! It is... the most interesting library in the world.
The Life Science Library, a branch of The University of Texas at Austin University of Texas Libraries, supports teaching and research in the life sciences, including the School of Biological Sciences and the College of Pharmacy. Library holdings include more than 200,000 volumes in the fields of biochemistry, biology, botany, ecology, microbiology, pharmacy administration, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutics, pharmacology, and zoology.
For botany and zoology, the geographical emphasis is on the Western Hemisphere and on tropical and arid areas. Medical material is acquired selectively with an emphasis on general medicine and research materials. About sixty percent of the medical material at UT Austin is located in the Life Science Library.
