Not a bad place overall. The only thing that turned me off is some of the staff’s attitude. I got a phone call while I was there and tried to keep it down (and short) but was admonished for the incident. I get it. It’s a library however, not even 10 minutes later, the staff (including the member that told me to get off of my phone) were having a conversation that was louder than mine. Kind of hypocritical if you ask me. What’s more is that I observed some staff being very unhelpful. Rather than being nice and helping people to accomplish what they were trying to do, they just said, “You can’t do that” or “We don’t do that”. Granted, you may not always have a good answer and you can’t help everyone but as a customer service representative and a representative of the library, you should at least be helpful and not sound so defeatist and negative. Positive attitudes begets positivity!

Staff was cool but as big and fancy this public library appears, they DO NOT offer faxing services! However, they show you a list of nearby faxing services in town that charge at least $1 per page or more! The sad part is that library is simply ripping people off instead of sending them to the Workforce Solutions Center right next door for FREE copying, scanning and faxing! Shame on you people smh...

Its koo the dvds are free and 6 is the limit. I jus cant stand the retarted clerks ive had 2 annoying encounters so far wit them ugh the 1st time i wanted to reach ova da counter & slap her lol she scans my dvds & accuses me of havin 3 dvds that are late i go um wat no i dont?! Shes like well das wat it says?? i go wat are the titles?! She states the titles of the same dvds that r in my hand!! I go uh u jus scanned these 3 dvds!! N im all wavinem at her lol she goes oh sorry i jus read it wrong i go uh yeah?! Ugh

A truly great group of people, story time is awesome and the kids area is great. Yes homeless people are in and around the area but I use it as a teaching moment for my children: compassion and prayer for others is the lesson. I teach about stranger danger no matter where we might be.

The most appalling library I've ever visited. The ambiance  is quite jail-like, depressing and dark. The staff were terse and distracted. The hold system will not allow one to hold a book if it is checked into the library. This is absurd, every other library I have been to allows me to hold books even when they are checked in so that others do not check them out before I have time to make a visit to the library. This is the entire point of a holding system. Also the online account linked with my library card would not let me log in on several occasions and I had to make many trips to the library to get it fixed. When I hold an item through the online service it randomly cancels the hold without giving me a notice. As for renewing a book, you simply aren't allowed to if another user is holding the book you are reading. I had to return a book I was in the middle of because someone else had put a hold on it. By far the most vexatious experience with a library I have ever had. Also many unsettling creepy statues everywhere. 10/10 WOULD NOT BANG THIS LIBERRY
