This is a very nice place. Just ask my grandkids.many deer and some turkey. G-kids got to go swimming several times. We all enjoyed it. Like a second home.

Very clean campsites and restrooms/showers. Had absolutely no issues camping. Prices were good. My only issue was the swimming area was covered in rocks and hurt your feet until you were out far enough in the water to swim.

No! No! No! Not kid friendly... there are no paddle boat, canoe, or bike rentals. No designated swimming area... no place to buy bait either. The picnic area tables need tending! The restrooms looked like they had not been cleaned or pressure washed in a long time. We have visited many Texas State Parks and this is the least "Family Inviting" one we have been to!! We did not make it through 2 hours and left... It is scenic and beautiful but NOT for families looking for CAMP site activities unless you bring your own! It has way more potential to bring the county more revenue. Very disappointed!

Nice park with electrical and water at every site. Hope you like helicopters, because you'll spend your evenings listening and watching the Apache's practice. Wish they'd test out stealth mode while they were at it 😕

its bigg, its cool, water access, 
good cell coverage (except sprint LTE) 
Tmobile is crazy fast here, then verizon, then att, then sprint
