I've been working with Kathleen and her team for over 5 years, and will continue to do so.  While Airbnb and other services are fine options for vacationing around the world, I wouldn't want to take the business away from folks who live in this pristine area and make an honest living caring for and renting out beautiful properties.  Give them a try, you won't be disappointed (and if you are for some reason, you can stop in at their office on the way out of town and talk to them about it!!)

Super wonderful people - easy to work with, very responsive, have great inventory and listings. They were flexible with our check out time and helped get my group into a wonderful house for the New Years. I use them every year and love them!

We have used Central Reservations in Winthrop to book lodging for the Oregon Nordic Club, for our annual ski trips to the Methow Valley for many years.  Briefly, they are what an ideal reservation agency should be!  They seem to understand our needs, with respect to location, beds, and amenities. The condos we rent are always clean and fresh.

They are always helpful, even when we had to change a date, and respond very quickly (overnight).  They are the one place to book your stay.

My family has been booking with Central Reservations since I was a child. If you need to communicate with someone real, they are quick, friendly, and responsible.  And they care about their service!
11/9/2017: I am updating my review to 4 stars instead of 5 because we had to reschedule and cancel one of our bookings this season and ended up incurring $78 in credit card fees through Central Reservations. The fact that they pass along the fees (4% per transaction i.e. charge, refund, etc) to the customer is fine, but please at least make the customer aware! Perhaps at the time of booking or revise the FAQ on the site that says "Central Reservations is a free service to you and does not charge any kind of booking or service fees" as that feels a bit misleading.

We have rented homes through Central Reservations for the past 5 years, and have never been disappointed. One year, there was an unexpected problem at the house we rented and they were able to move us into another available place without any hassle. We look forward to returning to the Methow Valley and renting vacation homes from Central Reservations next year!
