Great spot hidden in the beautiful woods outside Winthrop.  Serving breakfast daily and dinner on the weekends.  We arrived as breakfast hour nearly ended ( 1130 am)  and they happily accommodated us.  The waitress was friendly and helpful.  The food was fantastic!  We recommend this stop if you are looking for a great breakfast away from the tourist in Winthrop.

We stayed here in July 2016 as we were road-tripping through the states of Washington and Oregon. It was a wonderful experience. The rooms were cozy (no television - I didn't know if I would like that, but the peace was perfect and truly allowed you to connect with nature) and very lodge-y. I loved the room key - who gives out an actual key anymore??? A family living area featured games, books, and a television (so if you do need television, alas, there is one!). The hallways are decorated in fun vintage-y, lodge-y memorabilia (think: old skis, etc.). The staff was super friendly. Walking outside took you to to the Mazama store (a must see - quick groceries, liquor, a small cafe, an other odds and ends along with neat gifts!) and peace and quiet along the road. July was a popular time for cyclists to come through, and the restaurant on site was a popular place for them to stop. Speaking of the restaurant - it was delicious and hands down the best breakfast of our trip. It was hard to believe that in the middle of nowhere, we were made the best vegan breakfast ever. When we return someday, we will definitely stay here again. I hope this place stays here for a long time to come!

We were hesitant to try this place but everything in Winthrop was booked. This turned out to be quite the gem! I hesitate to even mention it because I don't want the secret to get out. The food was unbelievable and the environment couldn't have been more relaxed. Will go back for sure.
