I do not recommend renting from this place. Charged us $1,000 to paint after we moved out for damage that was there when we moved in. They continuously had a charge added to our account, didn't make us aware of a "sewer bill" we would have to pay every month, and then changed the stipulations on it frequently. Very inconsistent and seemed to be trying to rip us off every chance they got.

I lived in a cute little 3 bedroom house off of Sheridan Dr for 4 years. Champaign County Realty was simply amazing. If I ever needed anything or had any questions they were always on top of it.  If you are looking for a reliable, family friendly, and truly amazing company to rent from I would suggest Champaign County Realty for all your residential needs.

Scheduled a showing, they didn't show or respond to calls at all. Received an email several hours later asking why we never showed up to an address they had never mentioned before at all, saying that we got the address wrong, despite them confirming the address we went to multiple times. Acted like they had mentioned the new random address several times, despite it never coming up before. Awful attempt at a bait and switch, and huge waste of our time.

WORSE rental company you will ever work with. Troutman and his associates are complete crooks. They break urbanas rental laws without a blink. YOU CANNOT CHARGE $10 A DAY FOR LATE FEES IN URBANA. THERE IS A MONETARY LIMIT. Honestly if you rent from his company, good night and good luck. 

The owner responded by saying to avoid this, don't pay the rent late. STOP VIOLATING RENTAL LAWS IN URBANA.

The people are perfectly nice to deal with, but the cost of the house I rented several years ago was far too expensive for its size and location.  Additionally, maintenance on the house was not well done and was never prompt.  I would consider working with this company on buying or selling a home, but I would not rent again.
