The site manager, Meredith has been nothing but kind and respectful to my boyfriend and I who have been in constant search of the perfect place to live. She not only carefully listened to our wants and needs, she offered up suggestions and gave us options we did not even know were available. For example, we wanted an updated unit with white cabinets, hardwood floors, and stainless steel appliances. She showed us just this and also suggested a unit that was modeled slightly differently with darker cabinets. I thought I would never prefer this over the white but I LOVED it and this is the unit we ended up going with! I am so thankful she showed us this or we would have never fallen in love the way we did with the unit! Now, weeks after signing our lease and already paying the security deposit, she is still so quick with responses and is so kind with her time and her words with us. She has done truly everything asked of her, no matter how big or small. I could not ask for a better site manager. I am truly grateful to have someone such as Meredith, to know we can go to her with our comments or concerns without fear of judgment or lack of response. THANK YOU MEREDITH! Highly, highly recommend!

I am currently looking for property to rent in Champaign, my family and I are moving from Springfield. The property I absolutely adore is through them, it has been impossible to get ahold of anyone to answer questions about our applications. Over the past week I have left 2 messages and called multiple times. I have NEVER received a call back and agents are never available to take phone calls. Very little support in this process, which moving from a different city and choosing the property that is perfect for our family has been yet another confusing and frustrating aspect. The agents need to have a couple people in the office on a rotating schedule to be available for future tenants. Very disappointed in the quality of personal interaction if any we have received.

The only issue I have is the fact that the don’t accept pro rate for residents who are moving out early. They are charging me rent for days I’m not staying at the residence. Yet, they accept rent for if you want to move in early. Doesn’t make sense to me.

I have been living with Ramshaw apartments since Aug 2017. I have been living with a cracked window since I moved in and I have reported multiple maintenance requests. I only heard back once for the statues of my cracked window with them stating "It will be fixed before it gets cold out." Today it is snowing and I have had my heat on for over 15 days. This problem is not only costing me money in my heating expenses but I also live on the first floor so this is a major security issues as well. They have yet to contact me on when it will get fixed, if ever. besides this issues I have had no other problems with Ramshaw.

Update: My window has been fixed and replaced, I have also been reimbursed for the extra heating expenses. I still have had no other issues with Ramshaw and I am happy that they corrected their mistake.
