My Husband & I are in Mankato for his job, so far this was the best meal we have eaten since we have been here! We both had steaks, they were cooked perfect & tasted very good & our sides were very good too! Our waitress was very nice & helpful & the girl that seated us was nice too! The restaurant is nice & clean. The only complaint we have is that our beer was a little warm! We will for sure be back!

Dinner review:  Returned to have the prime rib. Ordered the 12 oz as rare as possible and they delivered.  NYC/SF quality here in Mankato.  As you can see, it was closer to 20oz!  Portions are head and shoulders above par.  Excellent seasoning, preparations and freshness of meat.  Sides are just as good.  Upscale, romantic dining room in the back.  Full bar with a large beer selection.  Top notch service.  Prices below par for what they bring to your table.  A hidden gem here in South MN.  

[Original lunch review]  Family owned restaurant segment.  Casual, but comfy and contemporary decor.  Excellent service.  A notch above par in menu creativity with great execution of the dishes.  Great beer selection with a full bar.  Prices and portions on par for the segment, however, they have specials that bring the prices well below par.  Would certainly return.

Very friendly server but the food was horrible except for the broccoli salad. Originally ordered prime rib only to be told at 5:20 pm they were sold out ! We both had steaks and neither was cooked correctly and very tough and dry. My husband also got lobster but no butter to dip it in. Even the bread was tough and dry. Won't go back there again when you pay that much for a meal and then be that bad. No thanks

Very slow service even with advance reservation. Only a few tables occupied in the restaurant. Food was good when it came.
