Story

We've come a long way since Bruce and Joyce sat down around the table with their kids to think of the name of this shop, but family is still at the heart of our operation.
Bruce and Joyce Hansen founded Great Plains Auto Body in November 1988 as a family owned and operated auto body repair shop. We first opened our doors in Omaha, Nebraska in a 5000 square foot leased facility at 78th and F Street. In 1992, 2,500 square feet were added. In 1996, we purchased the 17,000 square foot building and 3 and 1/2 acres of land, which serves as our current location.

Charlie Graham went above and beyond for me, and I was a first time customer. I scratched the paint on my outback and a different well-known body shop in Omaha quoted me $1,300 to fix. Charlie Graham explained I had options of re-painting the panel or touching up the area. I had them buff the area and apply touch-up paint. They did this for me free of charge, and I had never been there before! I was so impressed with their service and honesty, especially Jim, Kathy, and Nicole. When I need body work done in the future, I will absolutely go to Charlie Graham.

Absolute BEST body shop in Omaha...hands down! I've been taking my cars here for body work for more than 20 years and I still have yet to have a problem that wasn't resolved to my 100% satisfaction. No one else in Omaha touches my cars when it comes to body repair.

My car was only 8 months old when, despite the back up camera, I manages to back right into something. Charlie Graham repaired the body damage perfectly. I also had service work, oil change and tire rotation. Thanks to the service department for realizing that my battery (in my brand new car) was defective and let me know that the dealer should replace it (they did). Car is fixed and running perfectly. Thank you Charlie Graham.

Took my car here for the first time after it had extensive hail damage. These guys not only got us in quick, but they fixed all of the glass within a couple days so I could get my car back while they scheduled everyone for body damage. For perspective, other shops were quoting 1-2 months wait time to do all the work at once, so being able to get my car back fast in working order was HUGE! Upon return, they did an amazing job on the body too. You wouldn't even know my car looked like Swiss cheese when I brought it in. They also kept me informed the whole time via email and worked with my insurance with no issues, which was great. Will definitely go back and highly recommend.

I was recommended to get my car fixed in this place. Apparently she was wrong. I got an attitude from the clerk who refused to explain to me about $319 bill. She barely looked me in the eye and not even checked the paper when I asked about labor cost.... Tom, if you want to keep the reputation of trustworthy body shop please make sure the representative treat customers with basic manner. I'm not judging you or who repaired the car, but I'm really disappointed about customer service that I got.
