Thank you to all the amazing staff (TSA, baggage & ground staff and American Airlines employees) that helped me make my flight to Charlotte tonight. You went above and beyond and your kindness was really appreciated. I sent some pizzas to say thanks and hope they made it to you guys. Thanks again to the best airport ever!

Airport is very convenient if working in Charlottesville or Harrisonburg. Flight options are limited but pricing seems very reasonable. The onsite restaurant / bar has decent food and drink options but is lackluster at best.

TSA lady took my phone without notifying me.  It was kept out of view for several minutes.  She refused to acknowledge me, was completely nonverbal and refused to answer my questions as to where it was.  This is the worst TSA experience I've had to date.  I was ready to consider it stolen when a fellow passenger noticed it after all of the TSA agents ignored me.

Small airport which makes it simple to get in/out. My first time here I didn't realize how small it is. Showed up 2 hrs early for a 9am flight. I was the only person going through check-in and security. The only restaurant has good breakfast sandwiches.

gates, but has PreCheck. 20 minutes from downtown. Airport bar maintains good local beer selection. Outside observation deck. Friendly TSA crew. Not many food options.
