Great regional airport. Everything about flying in and out of ROA is easy. Parking is a bit pricey if you have to leave your car for a few days. I believe it's $8 or $9 a day in long term. But beyond that, I'm always happy with my experience. American and United have quick and regular flights to larger hubs like Charlotte-Douglas or Reagan National or Chicago O'Hare.

The flights are always delayed by just enough for you to miss your connection. Save your time and fly out of Charlotte or D.C.

My rental experience was great!!! i look forward to renting again being as i might have to travel to that location a few more times in the near future.  Customer service rep at Roanoke airport, i think her name is Amanda or something close, she was super professional and with great customer service skills.

Car rental was a pleasant experience.  Amanda at Hertz rental counter was very friendly and professional while promptly handling paper work.

It's a small town airport, don't expect much.  There is a gift shop with books and snacks. Haven't seen the restaurant open. Did go through TSA quickly, no issues.
