Wouldn't have been as bad if McLaren hadn't taken over

Dreadful experience,  took my son here 3 times in one year because I thought it was my only choice to keep him from dying.  In each case, he left in the same condition in which he arrived after being treated horribly, rudely, and with no concern at all.  I would not take my dog there!  In future, I will drive over the bridge to a hospital not connected to these ripoff artists.

 My daughter devolped an ear infection while on vacation. We took her in for some antibiotic ear drops. We waited over 3 1/2 hours with only two other people in the waiting room. We finally got a hold of her Dr who called in the drops right away. We were never seen, after all that time and we walked out.

As an out of towner, I had little choice but to visit the emergency room at Cheboygan Memorial recently.  Although the visit seemed normal enough in some ways, I left there with an unnecessarily maimed toe.  Despite following their instructions (or because of it), my toe became more infected.  Upon returning home, I visited my internist, who was appalled at my condition and was baffled at the instructions I received.  After two visits to a podiatrist, who was even more appalled by what happened to me, I am finally getting better and back to normal.  On top of all of this, I've recently learned that although the hospital is part of my PPO network, the particular doctor I saw is not.  Now I get to pay a ton of money out of pocket for a botched treatment.  I completely regret visiting this ER, and I feel sorry for the people who must go there because they have no other choice.
