Do not go to this hospital! July 12th 2016 I took my fiance to this hospital.  She said she was in the worst pain of her life and she couldnt feel her legs anymore.  After her puking in the waiting room they finally brought her to a room where she sat and waited for at least an hour.  The dr was rude and clearly not listening to her and clearly trying to rush her out of the hospital.  I think his name was maldanado or something like that.  He took a urine sample and not a blood sample and diagnosed her with a urinary track infection and sent her home with antibiotics.  She died that night in her sleep at home.  Then the medical examiner covered for the hospital and called the main reason chronic alcoholism and fatty degeneration of the liver with pulmonary edema and dilated cardiomyopathy contributing.  She was 30 years old and didn't drink enough to be dead of alcoholism.  This autopsy report kept the hospital from being financially liable for neglect.  If you want to stay alive or if you care about your loved ones, avoid this hospital like the plague.  Go to midland.  They are much better there.  Everyone in this area knows that.  It was too late by the time I found that out.  Even the ems and sheriff deputy that responded to my 911 call all told me that I should have taken her to midland and I also heard that from every single neighbor and resident of this area that I have talked to since.

A friend of mine went to the Gladwin E.R. because she wasn't feeling right.  They sent her home.  While walking into the lobby of her apartment building, she dropped dead on the floor.

A while ago, I visited the E.R. myself.  I was having palpitations and other concerning symptoms.  They did an egk, said I wasn't having a heart attack, wouldn't do any other tests (I'm disabled & have a serious organ condition), said I was just "stressed", and sent me home.  To increase their profits, they labeled my visit as a "non-emergency" so insurance wouldn't cover it and they keep sending me a 500 dollar bill.  The entire time I was there, they had this "why are you here... you don't look like you're having a heart attack..." attitude.  Recently, I called the hospital to discuss some symptoms I was having.  The woman I talked to over the phone laughed at me multiple times.

I dunno, maybe they have been able to help some people but, from what I've seen, it's a lousy hospital.  That's what happens when you let conservatives turn your organs into a business.  I'm not sure if they're connected but the primary I have through mid-michigan (balakrishnan) is, by far, the worst doctor I've ever had.  I've spent my life around doctors and hospitals and I've never seen anything like it before.  I could write a book about how terrible she is.  Top 15 health system?  Yeah, probably because Midland hospital is funded by Dow.  Nothing special about their other locations.

I was there for 3 hours and it took them 2 hours to even come in and take vitals on my son who is 19 months old with a fever of 102 Dr. Beaudoing is an idiot and I'll never take my kids in there agin

I have always liked the Gladwin staff...they were kind...able to talk and very professional.  I suggest to a friend to go there for her mammogram. Unfortunately they changed techs and the one she got a couple of weeks ago wasn't kind...wasn't talkative...give no directions  thus not professional.
