DO NOT GO HERE!  You will pay your bill and then they will "misplace/file it incorrectly" and then send it to their collection hounds who will repeatedly call you and make your 8 month pregnant wife cry at 8:45 in the morning!  We have been dealing with Mclaren's incompetence for over a year now, and despite our countless calls and visits to get this resolved it seems they are incapable of figuring out their own system.

I was a recent patient here was in labor and delivered my baby most of the staff was great but I was not impressed with whoever the late night pediatrician was who sent my son to covenant in Saginaw where my baby had to be taken for fluid in his lungs where they’ve kept him way past the time he needs to be there he’s totally fine now and has been there almost four days when he should’ve been home by now being a first time Mom I’m not impressed with the transfer to covenant!! However doc Odell was amazing and the nurses too but my baby was full term and yes he had fluid in his lungs but this long of a stay is ridiculous u ask me it’s all about money

I recently spent 3 days here moving from ER, to ICU, to regular room. I was admitted for being in DKA which is related to diabetes. I was diagnosed that day with Type 1. I have nothing but great things to say about everyone that took such great care of me during my stay.

All the nurses on each level were amazing! Very attentive and caring! My ICU nurse was so helpful in explaining my new diagnosis and lifestyle that was ahead of me.

My OGBYN Dr. Sanders (which I was a new patient to) took great concern in my current health problems and even visited me in the ICU. My endo Dr. Reddy was and is already amazing! 

Thank you to everyone that helped take such great care of me and making a scary experience a little less frightening.

After being treated at the E.R. I was send home around 3 AM with a prescription for a heavy duty antibiotic and pain meds for a bladder infection that was "dangerously close to spreading to my kidneys". Being a first year student at CMU, I didn't bring a car with me and didn't have a way up to the pharmacy. 

Being in pain and not wanting to walk a mile to the closest pharmacy, I called asking the E.R. to either call in or fax my perscripton to the CVS, the closest pharmacy. The nurse who answered the phone rudely transferred me while I was trying to explain my situation. The nurse who picked up was equally rude, talking to me in a condescending tone one would use on an infant, saying "we don't call in or fax prescriptions, sweet heart, okay? Got that?"

I expected them to be more accommodating to college students since they are so close to a large campus. I also would expect them to take my condition more seriously, as they warned me that the infection was close to spreading to my kidneys. I guess these assumptions were wrong to make.

This hospital is a joke. Daughter went in with being in afib, doctor did nothing but stand outside of room at desk joking. He did nothing!
