After previously spending an entire day in and out of several different dealerships, to no avail mind you, we jumped online and found an excellent deal at Checkered Flag Honda of Norfolk.  I got on the phone the next morning and spoke with Nate, who would turn out to be a fantastic help.  I live over two hours away from the dealership, so I was a bit hesitant to drive such a distance only to face the typical bait and switch that you find with so many dealerships.  Nate put me at ease quickly, checking inventory to ensure what I was looking for was there; even taking a walk through the lot to send me pictures.  

You just can not beat their prices.  After a full day of "haggling" over trade-in values and best deals on a new vehicle (at other dealerships), it was a welcome pleasure to be offered, up-front, the best deal available.  Even better, the deal was a fair one.

To speak directly regarding my salesman, Nate:  He was extremely personable, knowledgeable, not pushy at all, and cared about my needs.  I will be back to deal with Checkered Flag Honda, and Nate when the need for another vehicle arises.  Thanks for a great car buying experience.

Amazing customer service from Sherri Frank going above and beyond to ensure that we were taking care of even past her scheduled time of work. Very helpful and offered to drive us to other checkered flag locations to find the perfect car that fit what we needed and were looking for. She made sure that we knew all of our options. She also found the answers to any questions I had and such as when the tires were last replaced, brakes, oil, important details so I could take care of the cars maintenance moving forward. This is our second car from checkered flag and Sherri is the reason we went back. Excellent experience at checkered flag because of Sherri and I'd likely never buy anywhere else. It is a 100% different car buying experience and I love it.

Buying a car can be a huge hassle, but not when you buy from Brendan Powell at Checkered Flag Honda! I bought my Honda Accord there last year and was pleased with the overall experience. My experience was based solely off of the excellent customer service and professionalism from Brendan. He is very personable and made the whole process so incredibly enjoyable. I left knowing I had received a great deal and a great car! I look forward to working with Brendan in the future when I purchase my next car!

Cristen and Scott were both extremely helpful, informative, and comfortable to work with. No pressure tactics, no gimmicks, no senior sales manager coming over to talk about why I'm not buying a car today before I leave. Checkered flag offered easily the best price from the word go. Staff was knowledgeable I was always suspicious of no hassle pricing until visiting Checkered Flag and some other dealers. The other dealers didn't even come close in price or laid back stress free pressure tactics.  I would highly recommend Checkered Flag and Cristen and Scott if you're in the market for a Honda.

Great dealership! My sales representative was Nate D. Allen. He was very helpful and full of knowledge. He answered all of my questions honestly and was very upfront about everything. He made the purchase process very easy for a first time buyer like myself. Nate never pressured me towards a specific car either. This was nice because I could look around without someone trying to sell me something else of change my mind on what I was looking for. There was a sense of trust between us because he is a Navy veteran and I am currently active duty in the Navy. I recommend any active service member to go to him if you’re looking for a car, whether you have already found one or are just starting out. You might be surprised with what you find, and you will definitely be satisfied with the employees, the honesty, and helpfulness. Again if you are active duty military call and ask to speak to Nate D. Allen. He stands out from the rest.
