We can provide our guests with the additional safety of an enclosed kitchen and limited personal contact – whether you choose to drive up, order ahead online, or have our food delivered. In response to concerns around the Coronavirus we have closed the few dining rooms that exist in the Checkers & Rally’s system and are limiting the number of people on our patio and at our walk-up windows. We are reinforcing our policies, including frequent and proper handwashing, along with the proper utilization and changing of gloves as we continue to serve our guests."

Was going to go to Burger King but saw this Checkers across the street and after wending my way around, pulled in. I have always used the ordering window at the front of these Checkers. There was another person ahead of me and I stood there a good 15 minutes before asking that person if he had been served yet. He said "No." He had been waiting there a little longer than myself. I told him I didn't think they were serving at the walk-up window and we both got in our cars and went through the drive-up. I saw that he had gotten his food and it was fairly quick. I pulled up when it was my turn and when the window opened, I got scolded for not placing mine order at the menu board. I told him nobody greeted me or asked for an order and there was nothing but advertising on the output. When I told him this he told me it's common sense and that I would now have to pull out and get in line and do it over. I told him I waited at the front window with no service and he said he was short-staffed and that I needed to pull out, do it over or not be served. I told him I would go someplace else. He said, Fine. You do that! There were no signs stating no service at the walk-up window and the treatment I got at that location was uncalled for. It seems to me this Checkers does not need all the business it gets. On a positive note, the place I went to was the Checkers on Fowler Avenue where I got the complete opposite in service. At the window in less than 3 seconds, very friendly and a much, MUCH better experience! Corporate needs to consider getting rid of the unfriendly person who spoke down to me like he did for things, some of which was not my fault! Maybe he didn't like my long shaggy beard. Maybe it was my skin colour. In any case, there is no excuse for the treatment I got and was completely unexpected. My advice to anyone reading about this location - Avoid it! There are much better ones not far from there!
The Difference from Night and Day. I was picking up and UberEats Delivery order and I ordered three Checkers Burgers in Temple Terrace about 9:15 p.m. tonight and were cold and tasted old. The ends of the burger was crusty and I didn't have time to return as I had to deliver the customer's order. I felt that Checkers rob me on quality of service and price. I was charged about $2.50 per sandwich. I will never order from the evening shift anymore!
Ordered online for pick-up, all 3 burgers were incorrect, missing items and dry. Tried calling the store no one will pick up. Customer service needs improvement. On a positive note fries were fresh.
There was only two people working and only two people in the Drive-Thru and they took my order ; did the drive-thru and whoever came after them and the people on mobile order side got served first . We were there for about 30 minutes. We walked there cuz we live around the corner and at first he said he's only taking drive-thru , and we said we walked there so he was like ohhhh okay and then he said that oh I'm only taking card no cash cuz I had cash in my hand I could pay with card that's not a problem. I also didn't get my receipt.The fries were squishy and there was hardly any lettuce in my burger, I also asked for no onions they were onions. Our food was very cold considering how long we were waiting.
Checkers food is pretty good. I feel like everyone that works there absolutely hates their job. I don’t want to inconvenience anyone so I won’t return.
I went to #5284 location and order one of your new chicken bacon bbq mother cruncher. Got the order everything was good but the sandwich had so much mayo and mustard on it. To be honest I didn’t realize it came on it. So I took the sandwich back up to the restaurant and patiently waited until someone came to the window. When one of the males came to the window I told him that I didn’t realize mayo and mustard cane on the sandwich and I asked it it was ok if I had a new sandwich with BBQ sauce no mayo no mustard. He said ok and took the bag, told the woman talking orders Trina B. So as I’m waiting I noticed the sandwich boy was not making my sandwich on the set up side. The guy that took my bag was making my sandwich on the other side. I’m like ok... BUT THEN I saw the chicken. I work in restaurant so I know when something has been re-dropped. The color was no longer a golden. The breading was crispy it stared to came off the chicken. When he came to the window to bring me the sandwich I asked him if he had re-dropped the chicken from the other Sandwich. He told me “ No I threw that sandwich in the trash.” I smiled and said ok and Walked away. •There is sooooooo many thing that is wrong. I took that sandwich to my house and it was touch by myself and one other person. •You put food that had been contaminated by ME back into your fryer. UMMMMM Corona virus. Correct me if I’m wrong CDC rule DO NOT ALLOW YOU TO BRING FOOD THAT TOUCHED A CUSTOMER BACK INTO THE KITCHEN!!!!!!!
Employees are so respectful and helpful. The burgers were soggy, but the guys working are so helpful and nice that it's ok. I'll be back just for how nice and curitious these guys were.Food: 2/5
Got to the drive through with 20 min left of my break. 2 cars ahead of me. Took me 24 minutes to get to the window, just to be told they were doing card only. Could t be bothered to tell people or put up a sign. So just gave em my 20 for like 12.00 in food, that I couldn't even finish. No reason for 2 cars that it should take that long. Loom through the window and I've never seen slower employees anywhere. Didn't even get my drink and it took em that long. Only reason for 2 stars is the burger was good
Food was awful!!! Actually worse than awful! The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because of the lady with the sweet smile and wonderful personality at the window! Give that girl a raise she's the only thing right with this place.
I got a Big Buford combo and the burger wasn't done. I normally get my burgers medium to medium-well, but when it comes from fast food restaurant, I want it well-done. The burger was not only not done, but it was cold making me think they didn't cook it at all. Thank you Checkers I won't be returning to eat from here again.
