I'm not normally one to post reviews, but I want to warn people. I was a regular wash and fold customer, but will not return again. I accidentally left a credit card in a pants pocket when I dropped off my laundry a few days ago. The clerk handed me the card when I returned. Almost immediately, I got a call from my bank, asking if I had tried to spend about $1k at a few vendors in NYC. I had not. Theft aside, I've found Chelsea Laundry to be untrustworthy in other ways that I would not have written about if their employees hadn't tried to steal a thousand dollars from me. For example, when I last dropped off laundry (which you pay for by the pound), I had a comforter in my bag. When I returned, they had charged me extra for the comforter because there's a set fee for that item type (makes sense - though you should really call a customer before you double a bill), but they had not re-weighed the bag after removing the 3-5lb comforter, so the weight they billed me for was way too high. There are too many other good laundromats in the area. Just don't go - don't trust them with your clothes or your money.

Always great and a very fast service. Right opposite the Hilton which is the really handy. Friendly staff.
