Classic New Canaan casual eatery. Really the best place for a burger. Everyone comes to Cherry Street to eat and it's a virtual cross road for all walks of life. They come for one reason, the food.

Don't pass it by drop in when your hungry.

Always a good experience when I go there. Everything I've tried is really good and the prices are average. Great French Onion soup and Taco Salad with Buffalo Chicken, although my two favorites on the menu are the Vermonster Burger with a fried egg, and the NY Strip Steak with the blue cheese and fried onions on top.

The food was good here, the burgers were excellent. I'm giving it one star because of the pathetic excuses of workers who seem to crawl around there. I had a gentleman wait on me, tall bald man, who didn't hesitate twice to make a pass at me every chance he could. He bought me two free drinks, which was kind but I felt very uncomfortable, because I am a young lady and he wasn't young. When I was discussing the bill with my friend, the waiter came and took the card. We said to him we were not done, that we wanted to find out what we should pay for, but he said "no. You guys look like friends. She can give you money". So he automatically we had money, which we don't, so when he did that my card overdrew. I asked him to fix it, he said no. So I tipped him less than gererously for his rude act of bull, and he chased my friend and I out of the restaurant to our car. I was scared and concerned for this mans mental health and wellness to serve other customers. I am afraid to return to this establishment.

What an amazing place and staff. We happened to be at the restaurant the night 2 individuals arrived who had been evacuated from two different islands because of hurricane Maria and were in route to family in New Hampshire. They lost everything except the clothes on their back and their cat. Not only was the staff lending an ear but they bought their meal. The staff and patrons were in tears. This is what a hometown establishment is all about. Not only great food but staff and owners! Keep it up.

BEST BURGER in the area! Love the family-friendly atmosphere. We love the appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and desserts. New Canaan is lucky to have a reliable local neighborhood restaurant to visit.
