So this place has great food and cocktails, but forget coming here if the place has a full bar. I usually sit at the bar but when it is busy, you may as well go somewhere else. Today I have been here for over an hour and only was served one drink and no food (but I ordered right when I got here). I do love this place and it is a favorite of mine. (Their mushroom toasts are to die for!!!!!) They have a phenomenal wine selection and the food is always on point. Just avoid it like the plague when it's busy.

Favorite restaurant in New Canaan. Food is consistently awesome, and love the space. It's gorgeous inside. House made pastas are my favorite, but definitely save room for the fantabulous dessert! Also nice to not have to fight for parking spaces, unlike at other restaurants and businesses in town. Our go to place for special occasions!

One star for service or lack of and mediocre food at best! My husband and I have never been treated so poorly, and we have dined at high end restaurants all over the world. We went today for Mother's Day brunch which was extra special since it is my first. The restaurant wasn't very busy which should have been a sign. After 15 minutes of being seated, we had to approach the hostess to ask for a waiter. Someone other than our waiter took our drink orders. They brought my cappuccino first but forgot to give me a spoon. About 10 mins later, my husband's drink arrived. Our waiter eventually appeared and took our order. He later returned and asked me to repeat the order. He also gave the table next to us the complimentary coffee cake starter but never offered it to us. The food finally arrived, but we had to wait again because we had no cutlery. The tuna poke appetizer was small but okay. My crab cake benedict was decent but not worth $30. My husbands fried chicken was unimpressive. Pop-eyes has better chicken! While we were eating, we were never approached for additional drinks nor was my empty cappuccino cup ever removed from the table. The entire dining experience was awful. Do not waste your time or money at this establishment! What a horrible way to treat local residents.

It's okay. Food is tasty and drinks are strong. Worth visiting once in a while but for some reason I always feel a little ripped off.
