I respect that Christian Bros is a faith-based organization and puts high value on integrity. However, I've taken my car here several times over the last couple years and had trouble every time. They are very friendly people and create an inviting atmosphere. But good customer service is more than just being nice. They are very expensive, recommend repairs that are overkill (calling it a commitment to quality), and don't pay attention to the details. They've left my car unlocked sitting out in the parking lot, missed deadlines, not called when the car is ready, and several parts/repairs have failed just after the warranty expires. It's hard to find a fair, dependable, and trustworthy shop, and I kept giving them chances because I really wanted Christian Bros to be that, but they're just not.

A 5 star rating is not enough for Christian Brothers!  Every employee that I encountered exhibited a high level of customer service.  I felt like I was in a high end automotive dealership being treated with "White Glove" service. They are honest and courteous. I went to Christian Brothers last Monday to get a simple oil change. I had taken my vehicle in before to replace a coil (and was charged well over 500) but they seemed like they knew what they were doing so I went back. After I had an oil change Shauna gave me an invoice with all kinds of repairs needed totaling over thousands of dollars!! I go to drive home and a few miles down my check engine light goes on and my car smells like something's burning and then the check oil went on. Mind you this is a Mercedes Benz so when you leave your car in the hands of other people and pay over 100 for an oil change it should be done right! I barely made it home and called them up when they asked to bring it back. I told them I couldn't so they did have someone drive to my home and look at it. They had put a bad oil seal on it and oil went all over the car! So they had to take it all the way back for another couple hours after I had just waited a couple hours for their mistake! I ended up missing out on work and money because I didn't have a vehicle to take my daughter to her sitter. You would think they would've at least offered me a refund for the oil change or give me credit for the next one but nothing!! And if that wasn't bad enough, I looked at my invoice for repairs and looked up the parts online and they doubled the price on nearly everything not to mention labor costs!! They actually think I would pay 70 dollars for a lightbulb to be replaced!! I don't know if it's because I'm young or maybe because I'm a woman but they completely tried to take advantage of me and my situation! Very "Christian Like." Needless to say I'm looking elsewhere for any more maintenance going forward!

Brought our son's car to Christian Brothers at the recommendation of our Discount Tire store. VERY positive first-time experience, even though the car had bigger issues than we'd anticipated. The folks at Christian Brothers were honest, good communicators, and up-front about what was going on with the car. Good gut feeling when we got there, and when we left....I think we just found our new favorite automotive shop! :)
