the owner Allen, decided to host a rock painting session at CG. What a great idea. Had not been there since moving to Pcola and what a great time. The employees could not have been more gracious and helpful. They provided all of the rock painting supplies and rocks, such a generous gesture. After painting, Pat and I had lunch there and that was another treat. My sandwiche was piled with fresh corned beef and provolone and sauerkraut . I missed my pickle but will be sure to have one next time. It was a fun and yummy experience. Don't miss this great place in East Hill, Pensacola.

I loved this place about 6 years ago, when the owner wasn't a prick and would sell beers for two bucks. Now they have bar prices and rude employees. This place is obviously dying. This second paragraphs is continuing the post 7 months later. I went to City Grocery again. Ordered what I have been eating for years. Tasted like ass. And I am very disspointed because a few years ago this was my favourite spot.

Absolutely vital establishment for all those either living or passing through the East Hill area of Pensacola. Amazingly delicious sandwiches and sides. Sunday Brunch is a MUST if you're looking for affordable bottomless mimosas and a relaxing, quaint atmosphere.

No-frills counter-serve deli; also functioning as a convenience store purveying a variety of wines, beers, and... honeys. And there's a nice-smelling grill out front!
