Officer PJ Larscheid was, is, and always will be, a coward for beating that woman in the store and saying he will shoot her for holding on to the stick he was hitting her with. She was already on the ground .

I was pulled over today by Office M. Johns. I knew my car was lacking a proper tag and I thought that was the reason. I was also VERY embarrassed to have forgotten my wallet and was so nervous about it, especially since my ENTIRE family are all in law enforcement. Officer Johns informed me that BOTH of my brake lights were out, which of course, I was oblivious to. I thought for sure that that was 3 trikes against me, but after looking up my registration and license number he handed me a warning ticket when he could have really nailed me to the wall for three things. He was nothing but polite, professional and I just want you to know how glad I am that he did take the time to let me know about my brake lights...I can't even imaging what kind of accident I might have ended up having had I continued to drive that way. Thank you, Officer Johns, I really do appreciate it and am so grateful to have only experienced some of the nicest police (outside of my family back in the west, LOL) here in Decatur. You guys do a phenomenal job and I for one am glad you're here. THANK YOU!

OUR HEROES IN BLUE Chief Mike Booker, My first encounter with City of Decatur Police was through a Sgt. Richardson back in 1998 when he pulled me over for speeding on Scott Blvd during school hours. The thing was the Scott Blvd School was closed and the caution light should not have been on as if school was in session. I took my ticket back to Sgt. Richardson and he made the necessary adjustments that’s when I knew that City of Decatur Police had real heroes on their force. Sgt. Richardson didn’t mind the fact that my citation was written on a street that no school was in session and he was so very kind to change the speeding fine. 16 YEARS LATER, CITY OF DECATUR POLICE ARE STILL OUR HEROES IN BLUE July 11, 2014 I was pulled over in front of our church with the blue lights of a City of Decatur Police car behind me. I had just delivered a fresh baked pound cake for a special needs little girl in our neighborhood. You see we are known worldwide for pound cakes and art gifts for the terminal-ill. The cakes are called, “A Pound of Cure” and the art gifts are called, “Art with a Message”. All our cakes, dinners and art gifts are Free and we have been doing this for 19 years this month of July. When I saw the blue lights of the City of Decatur Police car I thought, “Not Again!” It has been 16 years since my encounter with getting speeding tickets or being pulled over by any officer. Lord God, What have I done wrong? The next thing I know a flash light was in my face and an officer was asking me for my driver’s license. How can you get pulled over after delivering a fresh baked pound cake to a special needs little girl? So much was running through my mind and then a sign of relief hit when the officer said he pulled me over because my headlights were off. THANK YOU JESUS, is that all just my headlights were off? I could have ran victory laps for the joy I felt from hearing I was pulled over for not having my headlight on. Officer C. Jameson, You are truly a hero in blue and I thank you for pulling me over due to the fact my headlights were not on. That is dangerous to drive with no headlights on. I really thought I had them on though. But it is officers like you that stop dangerous things from happening and you look out for our wellbeing on the roads. The Good Lord bless Chief Mike Booker, Officer C. Jameson and now Captain Richardson for just being watchmen that look out for our safety while risking their own life to protect and serve the people of this world.
