This is the official Facebook page of the Decatur Police Department. This site is intended to serve as a mechanism for communication between the public and the Decatur Police Department on the listed topics and is designated as a Limited Public Forum to further the mission of the department.
We encourage members of the public to "Like" our page and respectfully interact and share ideas within the guidelines of our Terms of Use.

Individuals who follow the Decatur Police Department’s Facebook page and repeatedly violate the terms of use may be banned and prohibited from posting future comments.
The Decatur Police Department is not responsible for any postings or comments deemed inappropriate that cannot be removed in a timely fashion.
