House alarm went off and they did exactly what I expected. Checked the full perimeter of the home and stood fast until I arrived. Can't ask for much more these days.

I wanted to recognize an outstanding officer that I met from this department. His name was officer Maharaj. I had the pleasure of meeting him tonight. I was so impressed with the way he represented the Cobb Police. Very well mannered, articulate and professional. I felt compelled to write this review because I could tell officer Maharaj really cared about people. I am a former police officer and the most important thing that I learned from my experience was that an officer who really cares about others is the right man for the job. Officer Maharaj is one of those men. He deserves to be recognized. Thank you Cobb County for hiring officer Maharaj to protect us. Your officers deserve the kind of respect that Maharaj gave me. Every one of them. They didn't become police officers to become rich or famous. They do the job for the right reasons.They want to "serve" and "protect" others. Because they love them. That is the reason why they are heros. All of them.

Wisdom, Justice, and Moderation? Not with the Cobb County Police Department. My entire life, I've always had a deep respect for the job that the police undertake to keep us safe. And in the past, when dealing with various counties around Georgia over the years, I've seen nothing but responsiveness, a caring attitude, and a clear moral compass. But this department doesn't answer to the public. I've tried to communicate with multiple employees of the CCPD regarding a case, and have been hung up on, ignored, and seen a general "I don't care" attitude, from the investigator on the case, all the way up to the Chief of Police. They certainly don't value a search for the truth.
