Please don’t waste your time calling Chamblee for when a grown man pushes your 3 year old daughter and officer lets them go just because they can’t get the owner of the building to pull the cameras up. We need better justice system GROWN MEN SHOULDNT TOUCH A CHILD. I normally stand for men in uniform but if they keep allowing criminals to do such acts we need a better way of them to start handling these matters or have no law at all.

They seem to exist almost purely to steal your money via BS tickets. They will completely lie to extort money, and will even manufacture additional retaliatory citations if challenged. I painstakenly detailed one particular incident on here, but when I finished and tried to post it, Google said I'd used too many characters (why not tell me while I'm writing, rather than waiting until I'm completely finished?).

This week, my spouse was heading towards work early in the morning. Approaching less than a minute away from the job site, officer Jermaine Felder pulls my spouse over for a "minor infraction". After pulling over, the officer approaches the window and immediately says, with an attitude, "If you don't have a license, you might as well let me know right now". I'm curious to know as to what training these officers get when it comes to public relations, or interacting with the public. I'm sure Chamblee Police is not interested in alienating or creating a hostile environment with taxpayers. Either way, his attitude and immediate assumption that my spouse may be "driving without a license", is concerning. By all means, my spouse is brown skinned, but what does that have to do with the question? He might've been insinuating that she may have been "an illegal alien", because we all know he wouldn't ask that question to Caucasian or African American citizens. It is certainly bad judgment on his behalf. The hostile dialogue has left my spouse and I with a bitter taste when it comes to Chamblee Police. Judging from the news, we aren't the only people concerned about their dialogue or assumptions of certain individuals that they have or may interact with. Besides the point, my spouse has never gotten a warning of any kind from any police department, but the officer in question, kindly decided to give her a ticket with no hesitation. I'm sure the warning system was put up as a measure to express humanity to law abiding citizens with no records or pulled over for minor infractions. Having skipped his moment to show some humanity, leaves me to assume that he's looking for a raise or a promotion by having a record number of tickets written early in the month of January. As you'd expect, I believe he doesn't deserve anything. His questionable dialogue and opportunists choice to give tickets to motorists without hesitation, disregarding the warning system, leaves me appalled. I'm hoping this officer will reconsider his ways, and consider a different approach to motorists. Chamblee needs to strengthen their relations with the public, not hurt it more. We aren't Compton or Chicago, we are Chamblee. Have a great day.

I got arrested at Walmart for not swiping $35 of meat that i kept going fast and just put in bag once attendant ignored me. I go to court today for theft by shoplifting of $35 with no prior charges at all I get in a $700 3 month program but they proceed to put me on a drug and alcohol program that has nothing to do with my charge saying I smelled of something...and then jacked my fees up. I do not appreciate that and think they are wack...I repeat wack. Will get u for anything...as the previous person says...stay out of chamblee. Beware of small cities and counties...they are only after money and that it's. Just sad oh and in order for u to bond out which my bond was $100 you have to pay a $200 deposit that they lie and say you get back after court. All about money. Rich snobby no good for nothing but getting a quota for the week.
