I love everything about this place. It's a pretty nondescript, older-looking joint, but there's a reason it's loved by the locals. The food is excellent, the pie is out of this world and I've always gotten great service. There's a bar in the back, but you don't see it from the dining area. I ate here a good six times before I noticed it. They run off the menu specials, as well as a soup of the day. The pie selections also vary by day. All of it is great. We eat here all the time and it never gets old.

Locally owned. They have the most amazing homemade pies. Comfort food at its finest. They also have a full service bar and a good looking wait staff. My favorite is a simple grilled cheese sandwich.

Fresh. Pies. That's really all you need to know about this place. However, if you also would like to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner, this place has a home town atmosphere with home country cajun cooking dishes to go along. Great menu and fantastic drinks.

A long-time favorite for comfort food and seafood. Small bar area in the back. The restaurant can get noisy so can be difficult to converse with the music, TVs and other patrons (because most of the seating area is one big room). Definitely recommend.

Never been let down here! Amazing food! I go for the shrimp n grits and spinach dip. The owner tends to make rounds and greet guests. Even after Hurricane Harvey, they let their doors open to the public while the floors were being cleaned up! Life saver after eating hotel food for days!!
