The food at Sam's Boat is decent... Some days it's outstanding and other days you go and you're very disappointed. But the reason we thought taking our family is because it's equivalent to going to eat somewhere like Hooters. We love to take our children to eat with us and when we do we don't want to have to worry about boobs and ass in our face the entire time. They shouldn't make this place out to be a family establishment because it is not. If the girls didn't dress the way they do you would have a whole lot more business and they would get much better tips especially from us.

Great location and atmosphere. Excellent service!  I’ve never had a bad waitress. I always feel very welcome and taken care of.   Food is okay, wish it were a little better. I am not crazy about the type of batter used on the fried fish, and the tuna is too peppered. Fries were a little soggy. But overall a good place to go with friends or family.

Food was great and I loved the outside dining area! The crab cakes are a must try! The service was excellent and all the food we had was delicious. The fish tacos were also great. I would come back here anytime!

Ate at this place tonight. We ordered hamburgers and fish tacos. The hamburgers were basically so undercooked they were raw and had to be sent back.  When we finally got our food the second time on my daughters plate someone else's old receipt was folded up in a small square in her onion rings. Then to make it worse the manager acted like he didn't care, saying he didn't know how that happened.  Did not offer to comp any of the meal.  Never again will I eat here. Totally disgusting!!

Asked about crawfish size before  going.they did say kinda med. Its early yet..altho they were Spicy...we ordered hot as poss.and they had really good flavor.I believe bc of their size they were cooked too long..They were mushy. Could only eat bout half at 9.00a lb.
Granted Sams has always had really good crawfish..still little too early for us mudbug lovers..
We will be back..ima give it about a month.Its hard when you're   craving them to be patient.
