I had a small lump on my knee so I had a friend tell me about a knee doctor at The Cleveland Clinic here in West Palm Beach. I was seen by a person who was doctor but not a surgeon. The cost of the initial office visit was approximately $899.00. $500 for the consult and $399 for the "examination." Upon receiving the bill I called to question those charges and they said it was high b/c The Cleveland Clinic is the best hospital and the charges are commensurate with their raised level of expertise. Well, I've been to many good hospitals including New England Baptist, Mass General, Shands Hospital and many other orthopedic providers.  IMHO, that's a rip-off charge for an initial visit. Especially for something minor and the Doctor wasn't even a surgeon himself.

I’ve been going to my cardiologist in cleveland clinic she’s not a surgeon but she refers me too a good one if i need one, Dr. zhand is very good i’ve been treated for cardiac and she’s done what met my needs thank you

Shame on Cleveland Clinic West Palm Beach, Florida.  I had a 3:30 pm appointment. No one came to get me.  I asked at 3:45 pm if there was a reason for the delay. The front desk said no. So, I waited and waited.  No one had the decency to tell me that the Dr. was an hour behind.  All they offered was to reschedule my appointment or wait.  When I asked for the manager, all she had were excuses and again offered to reschedule.  I would have waited an eternity for this appointment but I had to pick up my daughter.  Me telling them that I had been in pain for several weeks while I waiting for the appointment did nothing!  Shame on you Cleveland Clinic!

This place is a mess, you’ll wait hours past your appointment time, they’ll mess up your medical records and medications and offer no help to fix any problems . They’re very nice at saying we decline to help you.

My Doctor left the practice.  I cannot get my patient records back.  No human answers for patients records.  They say to fax to a fax number.  However, this doesn't respond.  Cleveland Clinic is only a "tag" that has no meaning.  Avoid a relationship.
