I went to Coconut Thai today for dinner with someone and my experience was awful. We arrived at around 5:00-5:15 placed an order at around 5:30 and our food didn't arrive to our table until close to 6:30. This was especially upsetting because we watched 10-15 bite squad orders (which arrived after we did) leave the kitchen in that time. We also watched almost everyone in the restaurant (many of whom also arrived after we did) get there food as well. I ordered the pineapple fried rice, and the person I was dining with ordered the Ginger Stir Fry. The rice was ok at best. The pineapple pieces were so big you only got a bite of pineapple every 3rd or so spoonful of rice, and it took up nearly the entire spoon. The ginger stir fry was worse. It was a bland plate of mostly raw celery and carrot with a small bit of chicken in a basic sauce of soy, sugar, ginger and fish sauce. When we sent the plate back to have the vegetables cooked, they brought it back with a little more color on the vegetables but they were still completely crunchy raw in the center. Only this time, most of the chicken was missing. The waitress seemed apathetic as well. 

TL;DR Avoid this place like the plague, it would get 0 starts if that were an option.

This place is delicious and has many healthy options. Can be gluten free and/or vegan too. One of my favorite finds of 2017!

Exceptional flavor and choices of meals. The Squash Curry was expertly made with just the right amount of spice. The Laab salad had a wonderful flavor with a slight bite of hot. Sitting outside in the cool night air made this dinner the perfect place for a refreshing meal.

Would highly recommend this place. Food is very good and full of flavor with extra spice upon request.  Would go again without a doubt.

Good choice for Thai food in the area. I liked my meal and would definitely go back. One of the few places that gives you something close to the spice level you find outside of Minnesota.
