I recently purchased a pair of dress shoes from Coffin. The selection is respectable, and the staffer who tended to me was helpful. The prices are unbelievably high though. I was unaware of this until the shoes were priced at the register, and in a bit of a stupor at the price, I handed over my card. While driving home, I decided to return the pair the next day as the price was way over what the shoes were worth to me. ...only to find that they only do store credit. No refunds. 

I won't rate them low based on my mistakes, but I do think the lofty pricing and limited return service as compared to other options warrants a mid grade. Otherwise, it's a decent shoe store.

Been going to Coffins Shoe Co. since I was a kid! Just went in a few days ago and had a wonderful, personal shopping experience picking out new shoes for my husband. Great shoes and a great local store!

Large women sizes 10 1/2 -11 wide...a definite plus for me. Beautiful shoes & stylish. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Will order shoes for you. Only drawback...very expensive, but personalized service.
