This is our new favorite shoe store! We have a shoe store about a mile from our house that we have shopped at since moving here a couple of years ago, but it pales in comparison to Shoe Carnival! They have a wide variety of shoes for girls, which was my main shopping concern when going. My daughter has gotten MANY compliments on her sandals and cowgirl boots that she bought there, and they have held up much better than any other shoes she has gotten recently. Also, they make returns so easy. My daughter had bought a pair of sandals that pinched when she wore them and Shoe Carnival took them back without any issues, even though she had worn them once. They gave us full credit that we were able to use toward her cowgirl boots. I also love the selection of women's shoes. They have tons of clearance options as well. The employees were super friendly and helpful each time we went. My only complaint was that their boys section was pretty lacking. They only had 1-2 types of boys' sandals so my son didn't get anything there and was disappointed.

Love this establishment... Helpful, friendly and courteous employees. Paired with the names you know and trust at prices that are hard to pass up!!

I have never had to leave a bad review on a shoe purchase but this one is warranted. On August. 18th, 2017 I went into this store, looked around and purchased my teenaged daughter a new pair of converse. before I purchase I had her measured, the young guy who measured her assured us that she was a size 8, even after her saying her last one's were eights we proceeded to look of eights in the one's she wanted. There was one in the box, so I took the box up to the counter and the same guy went and got her the "other" shoe. Might I add that each way to and from this location is 1/2 hour drive for us. The morning school started she placed the one shoe one to realize the second shoe was different. I looked and indeed the other shoe was a size 6, while the other one was an 8!! Took the shoes back exchanged them and got the right two shoes, size 8. The next morning she puts them on again and says "mom these feel to small", sure enough her feet we're crammed in the shoe. I called the store, already irritated and spoke to a woman who was rude and not helpful at all. I took the shoes back, ready to get my money back and go purchase elsewhere. When I arrived at the store she said I could order them and they would ship to my home, still irritated I agreed. It's been a week and the shoes have yet to arrive at my home. So these shoes I bought for my daughters first day, have yet to be worn because of the lack of knowledge of their staff. Saved yourself the trip and irritation, go somewhere else to purchase shoes. We will never be back along with many others, to many other places with comparable prices and way better service with actual shoe knowledge to be giving service like this. I wish this company all the success but this Is one of those things that wont keep you in business with all the competition you have in the shoe business. If I could have given a zero, I would have. Three trips to this store and nearly three weeks later, and still no shoes!! Cristy

They almost always run "BOGO" sales which is nice. A decent place to buy shoes.
