Swimming in the heated pool while snow falls is a good memorable experience. Some guests do weird things like beinging alcohol and a dog into the big hot tub. That wasn't as nice but not sure how the place would actively enforce that.

Very nice location; almost IN Government camp. Almost walking distance to Ski Bowl. It has a GREAT - HUGE hot tub tucked in amongst the trees.

We stayed at Collins Lake Resort (J33) in January for 3 nights. I could not say enough good things about this resort. The condon was very well furnished and had tons of room for are 6 person family and not to mention dog friendly. The pool and hot tub was awesome. The condon is right in the middle of ton so you can walk to very thing. Will definitely be back..

Collins Lake Resort is a wonderful place to stay summer or winter. The amenities are fantastic! Porch to powder for easy transportation to Ski Bowl in the winter. Close to all the beautiful trails and lakes Mt. Hood has to offer. I would definitely recommend Collins Lake to anyone wishing to explore Mt. Hood and Government Camp. Chalet Pros: The chalet we stayed in was dog-friendly so our furry relative wasn’t stuck at home. It looked out over a green space, next to the creek and right across the bridge from the pool. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, so we could cook all our own meals. The beds were comfortable There was enough linens for our party of 8 There is a washer and dryer Garage is a 2-car tandem. General Resort Pros: The staff at the office is friendly and efficient Sauna, hot tub, pool, and leisure tub are wonderful summer or winter Cedar Lodge is a great place to watch a movie or game on their pull down projector, or just hang out by the fire. Cons: I don’t live here ;-)

Our weekend stay was wonderful. The Grand Lodge we stayed in was open and inviting with a well equipped kitchen. We were able to walk to Government Camp, explore Timberline, and relax around the fireplace. We look forward to a return visit.
