We came to Timberline Lodge at the end of February to ensure the snowpack and scenery were still excellent. The lodge itself is very historic and beautiful. We had a great time just wandering around and admiring the building. The Blue Ox bar looked very enticing but we were there on a weekday and it is only open on the weekends. We went to the Ram's Head bar upstairs instead and were not disappointed. The view from our window seat was amazing, the fondue platter and soup was delicious, the cocktails were fantastic, and the service was prompt and very polite.

Timberline is an easy drive from PDX and had plenty of parking. the lodge had all the essential accommodations like good, drinks, gift shop, and rentals. the Timeline hotel in the back offers an interesting place to relax and hang out. the mountain itself has awesome terrain for all levels of skiing and snowboarding. I definitely recommend paying them a visit if you're in Oregon.

one of the coolest lodges you will see. location and scenery is hard to beat. ski area is very fun but not super challenging. They are one of the only areas open basically year round due to glacier. if you are traveling through the area and do not make the trip up the spur road you missed out.

Pretty nice place. Skiing was fun, but I was a little surprised at how small the area is for such a large mountain. I think we got most of the trails before lunch, granted half the mountain was closed due to avalanches conditions. However, the trails were incredibly groomed and there was very little to no wait for the lifts.

The Clam Chowder had the largest clams I'd ever had in a chowder. The Hot Chocolate is a must. If you can book the FDR room. My favorite room with continuous logs for your fireplace. We are so fortunate to have Timberline.
