Having a gas fireplace in the room and watching the snow come down was relaxing & pretty. The room was clean and with a very nice view. We found the facility to be very comfortable and easy to get around. There's an outside and inside hot tub, along with an indoor pool so bring swimsuits. There's walking trails and a fun zip line course that's used year round. We took my mother in-law who's in her 80's and her dog on the trip with us. Normally we make many trips to her room through out the night and day to help walk the dog for breaks. Her room set up allowed her to be self sufficient and gave us the break of a lifetime. Her room was on the first floor and there was a back door with a patio. She was able to put the leash on and take the dog out at her convenience. thank you so much for having this option. We will defiantly be coming back.

My dream has finally come true! My wife and I spent a total of 3 days at Skamania Lodge. On the first day, in the morning my wife and I went to the outdoor Jacuzzi for about 30 minutes, from there we went straight into the Finland dry sauna (which was 250°F), for a total of 45 minutes in the sauna. After this, we went for an hour massage. We relaxed a bit and then had a big delicious, romantic dinner. The next day we hiked and explored the lodge.

First time visiting and had an absolute blast, all of the staff were super friendly and the hotel was very clean and cozy. We had a couple's massage (by John and Mo) which were fantastic, their technique was on point! We also had lunch in the dining room, which was delicious and the dining room staff were friendly and attentive. Make sure to get the bison burger with bacon and sweet potato fries! 

Almost forgot, the view of the gorge is breathtaking, especially from the rocking chair next to the fireplace.

Seriously an amazing place to relax and unwind. The bar/restaurant is the best place to get food. The reason for only 4 stars is the main dining option for breakfast left a lot to be desired, but explore and see what you can find. Breakfast was good, but couldn't compare to the food we had the night before at the bar.

Prime rib dinner was good. Way over priced. service was slow. Make sure you get a view room. We got put in a room with a wall in front of our window. The best part of the room was the large flat screen TV. The fireplace lodge area is way too small for how many people are there. The music was great however.
