Stayed back in June 2017. I like the renovation and enclosed pool. Seems all things were great and food was fair. I did have a major concern about safety during my stay. The fire extinguisher system in the ceiling had been painted over in the room I stayed in. So, I'm guessing it wouldn't have worked in an emergency. This is a serious concern and highly recommend management staff to do a courtesy walk through on every room and document the needed Safety repairs.

Was a great place. Very clean. Pool area was amazing. Staff very friendly. Restaurant was awesome. Great food decent cost. Breakfast was great. Lots of choices and always stocked up. Will return.

The room smelled like an AC unit that was moldy, the whirlpool water was tan in color, the pool was murky and had used towels everywhere but no clean ones. When I informed the front desk the pool had no towels I received a curt "we are aware". Drunken guest smoking outside the side door near my window woke me up at around 2am. However the complimentary breakfast was good for being free and overall the hotel was clean, the atrium area is nice. I'd stay again if it was just a bed for the night but not for a family outing or if I was going to spend anymore time than sleeping. Would not stay on the first floor again.

Definitely not convenient for airport travel. They are not efficient at securing shuttle reservations. Hotel was average, room smelled of old potpourri, security was sub-par. I would gladly stay elsewhere next time. I do like other Comfort Inn & Suites- I just had issues with the Syracuse location. I was running late in the morning because my reservation for a shuttle was "missed" and although there was a driver behind the desk when I asked, and a shuttle in the parking lot- he stated he couldn't drive me to the airport because they did not see my reservation. That said- they did order a taxi to take me for which I did not have to take however I waited a total of 45 minutes and got to the airport late.

This hotel was decent, old, but decent. The room was pretty large and clean, bathroom was small, but good, and the temperature was ok - the AC was old and didn't seem to respond very well to thermostat adjustments. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was really good, both exceeded expectations. Airport shuttle is a nice convenience if you don't mind waiting for a ride, it took almost an hour for an airport pick up after calling. I actually called back thinking they might have forgotten me. Check in at night was painful, the desk attendance seemed very flustered, but in the end, I got my room and all the charges and reservations were correct. For the price, this hotel is decent if you're just looking for a place with free breakfast to crash for a night or two.
