My husband and I walked here for breakfast on VA Beach trip in early August and absolutely loved the food! We got the fritters, waffles, and the salad, and I think the fritters were my favorite. Everything was well-seasoned and flavorful, and all the veggies tasted very fresh! Really enjoyed our breakfast and recommended the location to some friends the next day, we liked it that much! It was a beautiful day, so we sat outside, but the atmosphere is also very nice and welcoming indoors. That said, there is not an over-abundance of seating, so if you have a large crowd, you may want to call ahead. It's a very homey, organic/rustic vibe. The staff were nice and attentive and had good suggestions. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area!

Rustic & quaint. Menu is mouth watering. A little pricey, but worth it. The baked goods are limited. Service was so so. Love their philosophy. Go check them out! Parking can be an issue.

Went here on a Saturday around 2:30pm with my parents. The place is a bit small and was packed with people lining up at the door. After about 5 minutes, though, we did manage to get a seat at the window seating. The hostess was very understanding to the wait and even moved us to a table after people started leaving. The food is why you come here, and it was really good. I had the sweet potato gnocchi which was delicious. When I see ingredients like "pickled mustard seeds", it isnt something I think I would like, but boy was I wrong. The food was very reasonably priced around the lower teens for most dishes. My dad got the chicken sandwich which he thought was excellent, and the chicken was still moist on the inside. My mom had the ham and cheese buckwheat crepe which she said "was just ok." She wasn't a huge fan of the buckwheat for the crepe. After the meal, I had a latte (in the pictures). I've been to Seattle and San Francisco, and this was still one of the prettiest lattes I've ever had. I had burnt honey (a new concept to me) in the latte and it didn't add too much to the flavor, but didn't subtract either. Overall, I would recommend this place to others in the area. If you can get in when it isn't overly packed, you are in for a good meal at a reasonable price.

We love this little eatery. Fresh locally sourced ingredients, delicious food, chill atmosphere, and a friendly staff. Not sure how busy it is on the weekends but there's always a place to sit during the week for brunch.

Such good food! Had a sandwich with amazing, delicious contrasting flavors (apples, ham, sharp cheddar on grilled sourdough) with a salad on the side. Coffee was fantastic as well! Love that everything is sourced locally!
