I called Community Reach Center on a Friday, just before 4pm. Their website says they are open until 5 on Fridays. I selected the "schedule a new appointment" option from their phone system (since I am a new patient). I got a fairly standard, "you are important to us, please hold for someone to assist you" type message. I was on hold for 8.5 mins before I finally gave up and hung up. I thought, "well it is Friday, maybe they closed early for the weekend or something." I called again on Monday [which happened to be MLKJ Day] and received an auto-message that they were closed for the holiday. OK, that's understandable. So I called again on Tuesday. I was on hold for 4.5 mins this time. I was about to hang up when someone finally answered. Yay! I told them I was a new patient, struggling with an anxiety disorder and depression, and asked if I can schedule an appointment with a Psychiatrist. She mentioned something about have I done monthly therapy sessions? I said no, I am new. And I would prefer just meeting with a Psychiatrist, at least initially.  She said they "don't do that."  OK-- then what CAN you do / how do things work there?? I'm calling b.c. I NEED HELP. She said the way their program works is you schedule a monthly therapy session, and the therapist will refer you to a Psychiatrist if they decide it is needed. This is NOT the way a normal doctor's office works, and getting info from her was like pulling teeth. But OK, now that I understand how it works there, I am willing to give that a try. Can I schedule an appointment with a therapist then? No-- they don't take appointments. You have to show up on a Monday or a Friday morning, and just hope for the best basically, because patients are seen on a "first come, first serve" basis. She recommended getting there 10 mins before 8am to "ensure I get a spot." I have NEVER had a place make it so hard to get help!!! I am in shock at this place and their procedures... It's hard enough asking for help when you're struggling with these sort of issues. Then to be told you can't make an appointment, you have to come and wait around, hoping to be seen but no guarantees, that is just ridiculous. I'm very upset about this entire experience. I will continue to search elsewhere for help I guess.

Felix is the best therapist I ever saw, she has been seeing my daughter and It's amazing how much better she feels after her appointments with Felix.😀😀😀😀
