The store is very well organized and the fish selection is excellent. They do offer live worms for your fish, sold per oz. and apparently their fish selection rotates every few weeks as well. The gentleman who helped us out was very knowledgeable, passionate and also entertaining! We have a unique situation with two very large mature fish in our 38 gallon tank (a fast and territorial red tail shark at 6 inches long and a similarly large angel fish, both around 4 years old). We ended up picking two beautiful nearly full grown gourami and two juvenile parrot fish to complement the tank. So far we have had no incidents other than the playful chasing around that occurs in most tanks where dominance is not completely established. We are probably coming back for some live worms once we deplete our frozen stash.

Never have I ever seen an aquarium shop that was this clean. The store as you walk in is very vibrant and bright unlike most stores that are very dark. It doesn't smell like an aquarium either (not a big deal). The livestock selection was extremely good. They had a very limited saltwater selection, about 8 tanks in total but they all seemed healthy. Especially this dwarf flame angel I was looking at. He was nice, fat and looked really vibrant. Their freshwater selection is immense. There are so many different species and they're all super healthy too. From the looks of it, each tank is on its on system and they're run by sponge filters. First time going there today and I am blown away. Only if their marine selection was a bit better would I plan to go more. I think they were just low on stock. This place is great to go for, for dried goods. They have all sorts of high quality fish foods and medicines that will actually work. Quite impressed overall.

Place is clean and so bright!! Very good looking fishes! The owner was very knowledgeable and helpful. It was our first visit to the store and we felt welcome, right at home. :) Thank you so much. We won't mind driving from San Jose to Concord. 😊😊😊

This is a neat place on Pier 39, if you have kids they will enjoy it. We got a nice discount on our tickets, which made it more reasonably priced. Had I paid full price I would have been disappointed for sure. I honestly thought it was going to be bigger. 30 minutes to do the whole walk through, so we did it twice. Monterey Bay Concord Aquarium has this one beat by far, but it's still neat in it's own way. They have river otters and other animals you can't see other places. The nearshore & offshore tunnels are definitely the highlights of the Concord Aquarium. The touch pools were cool too.
