Robert provided my wife with a cleaning of her wedding ring and did a great job looking at the ring prior to the cleaning to ensure no loose stones and possibly compromising the ring during the clean. He also provided the appraisal we use for our insurance. He also set up a private time to look and try on other items while I waited on the cleaning. The office as a whole is very welcoming and Robert is extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable.

My wife and I had 35 items of estate jewelry to sell.  We made an appointment to see Robert.  We told him we didn’t (at the time) know how to sell the stuff, and told him our intentions were to have each piece priced as a cash sale by two different jewelers, with each piece going to whomever bid the highest.  Robert agreed, and spent over an hour with us, telling us what he would pay for each piece.

Robert mentioned he could probably do better if we put the jewelry up on consignment.  We told him no thanks, that we needed the cash for a new roof so we wouldn’t have to dip into investments.

I then went to a second jeweler.  He was high bid on a little over half of the items. The sale of those items went smoothly.  When we tried to get an appointment with Robert to sell him the items he was high on, he texted us he would only do consignment.  WTF!  What a classic bait and switch.  Robert knew we did not want to do consignment, and agreed to do cash.  Then he changed the deal.  What a waste of our time.  We politely gave Robert one chance to make this right, and his answer was....silence.

Anyways, it was easy to find a REPUTABLE  jeweler to sell the unsold items to, so we are only out a few hours of our time and some gas.

In the time of social media I can’t believe someone would try to pull this (bait and switch) and think this sleazy business practice would not be shared with potential victims and the BBB.

Constantine Creations offers high quality jewelry at the best prices in town!  And their customer service is excellent!    Call and make an appointment to check out their show room!

Don't be fooled by its small location, this jewelry store has excellent people who work there. The owner, Robert, is a certified gemologist and he picks only the best gems. I came in with a very good idea of what I wanted, I actually found a beautiful ring at a jewelry store in Claremont but they wanted 9k (totally out of my budget). I had heard of Constantine from friends, so I decided to drop by and get their opinion. First Mr. Avila was very professional, he did not bad mouth the other store I had been to, but simply told me that 9k was too much and he could get me the same thing for 7k. He told me he would find the setting I wanted or he would have it made to my specs. The location is small and their jewelry displays are a little dated, but if you want quality at a good price, they can find or make it for you... how wonderful is that? I won't ever waste my time going to another jewelry store with a huge overhead. Very very happy... definitely recommend!
