Simply incompetent. This is a DMV style experience run by people of similar caliber. Lazy, unhelpful, and generally useless seems to be the standard for employees. Avoid coming to this place if you possibly can. Appointment times are meaningless as you will be given a number that may or may not actually be called. Book at least 2 hours to cover your supposed 20 minute time slot. What a massive waste of time and energy.

I'm not a fake account or anything. I've only had a positive experience here. Fill out the stuff online 100% then have the USPS money order ready. They moved pretty quickly with me. It was ready in a week after going in person. Staff was really helpful and nice. My only gripe is the pick up area for the visa had not line or numbered system for people waiting. Just seats, and a guy cut in front of 7 waiting. Don't show up crazy early, as it won't help.

It was fast and easy process for me to get my work Visa. Bought my letters and passport on the day and pick up 1 week later.

The Consulate is setup to quickly handle processing for many types of requests. My appointment was early. I started my very short screening interview within 30 minutes of my appointment time.
