The staff has been very professional and informative to my matters and to my concerns, and from I could see and hear, to all those that needed the consular services. They efficiently resolved the issues before me with high professionalism. They are very busy and yet very efficient. The consular officers worked together with good concern to accommodate. Just make an appointment before coming in.

The staff was very friendly and professional, I don't know why everybody is complaining. I made an appointment online for 10.10 am and at 10.21 am I was out of there with everything I needed. I read the reviews before going and I was scared they were gonna send me home packing but it was so not the case. Gave 5 stars for this place because I was pleasantly surprised of their professionalism. Just make an appointment online and read the requirements before going in and stop blaming the system and the people working there for your own incompetence of getting inform before hand

I will update my review after trying again.. The review is based on my previous experience around one year ago..Nobody answers the phones, any of them, tried them, all, right now. About one year ago, going there, the front desk lady was rude, didn't give any info but wanted me to hire a lawyer to deal with her.. I tried and the price was enormous. It should be easy but not with communists.. The general answer is NO, you can't, nothing is good enough for them, they aren't helpful.. Planning to go again but couldn't make an appointment as those phone aren't answered by anyone..

Worst Experience of my life! Let's start by saying it took forever to get in touch with someone! They didn't answer their phones, not replying to emails...I finally managed to get someone to answer the phone, made an appointment, asked what do I need, I specified I lived in a different state (make sure you tell me everything I need. I don't want to pay for a hotel,flight to come there and not have something)...I wrote down every little thing she said. Did the translations, everything.. well I got there and the "lady" looked at my papers in a few seconds while she laughed of my translations (made by a certified translator ), gave me the papers back and said I need one more thing... I was expecting this.. The same communist attitude, no concept whatsoever of customer service... All this for a damn passport renewal! Do you know how US citizens renew their passport : fill out a form at the post office,send that with the old passport and new pictures and THAT'S IT!!! LEARN FROM THEM! The blonde "lady" that got the job because she probably knew someone is the most rudest person I have ever met! Despicable attitude from her and her co worker! Started gossiping and giggling like high school girls as soon as I stepped away! SHAME ON YOU! YOU MAKE ME BE ASHAMED I'M ROMANIAN! LEARN SOME GOD DAMN MANNERS! As people say in the reviews, it's pointless to complain..no one will do anything, that's why they will stay in that job position til they die... Romania doesn't really care who sends outside to represent the state and instead of being helpful to the Romanians outside the country, it just makes you not ever want to go back!!
