I had an experience with them that I can't even write about on here but let's just say I do not miss the German bureaucracy at all and I am so glad I only have to deal with it when my passport expires every 10 years. The case worker was demanding documents from me which are completely irrelevant to a passport RENEWAL, she treated my renewal application as if I never had a passport before. I had to submit "proof of citizenship", even though she held my passport in her hands, complete "Schikane" if you ask me and they get away with it! Zero stars!!!!

Smooth experience. The staff is super friendly. I have been to this consulate twice for a national visa. If you take all required documents, any visa will go smooth. Small mistakes in the application were corrected by the officer. The officer was very methodical and careful in checking the application. My wife and I were allowed to do our interviews at the same time so that was helpful as well.

All in all, smooth experience!

The process for the tourist visa application goes smooth, if you bring all the necessary documents with you! And, if you are missing some docs at the time of the appointment, you can email them. It took me 2 days to get the visa.

Terrible website. terrible phone system. Mondays and wednesdays 1-3pm? Going in circles from one Vmail to the next. Outdated website if you are looking for answers or to schedule an appointment. Disappointing for such a powerful country

So unprofessional, my passport renewal process is being treated as if it was my first time applying for one. As if it is not important. I am beyond dissapointed with the service i am being provided with. Never expected this from a German consulate.
