Loved experience here.  Gentleman who was helping me did not hesitate to step out from the other side of service desk to provide detailed instructions for using copier, paying for DHL and photo machine in person.  It became a much friendly environment and pleasant place to visit compare to 5-6 years ago.

I have applied for multiple visas over 6 years at this consulate. They have always been patient, polite, and very helpful. Do a bit of research, bring in the correct documents, and you can be in and out in a matter of minutes.

I lost my passport and had to come to the Consulate to get a temporary passport. The service was very quick, and I could get a new one in 24 hours.

Rudest people I have ever met on a consulate. When I came in I could read the expression on the girl's face, which clearly stated: "Oh no, here comes work. That's not why I am here." 
When after not- greeting me and asking about the required documents, the tone she used was nothing short from rude. When talking about the documents, she yelled at me and proceeded to tell me that the 'tone I was using was unacceptable'. When I asked her a couple more question regarding a visa application, she just turned around and stopped talking to me, all just to wimp me off. Again, I was being the rude person according to her. Even when I asked her if I could speak to her boss, she assured me that there was no such thing as 'her boss'
I do not know why this person works there, she's an extreme poor example of how Koreans really are. I am convinced she works there because she has friends at the right place; Someone in his right mind would never hire this abomination of representation for his country.
