Sent a marriage registration dossier down to them.  They had a question about it and they called me clear up any potential problems down the road.  Got the package back within the week.  Very friendly and helpful staff.

I applied an Visa exemption, it just took about 1 week for processed. The staffs very friendly. Thank you very much !!!

Very friendly and helpful staffs. Very quick to answer all your questions and very polite. If you are in Vietnam and have to go visit any government office and deal with staffs don't expect the same. I was very please with the service all the staffs provides. Thank you everyone for a job well done. I wish the same go in Vietnam.

For US passport holder the service is easy and simple for other passport holders like myself depending on the agreement that Vietnam has with your country you will be required to provide additional information. I have no problem with booking a hotel and flights and providing the details but it would be nice to know before getting to the consulate that you must have a confirm flight and confirm hotel reservation and wouldn't beable to get your visa same day...what if i flew in for the day to get this visa? Lucky I had my flights booked ,had to book a hotel on the spot. The lady at the desk was helpful and let me print what they needed but it would be nice to state these things on their website to prevent delay. Also I couldn't get  my passport same day because I'm not American , the website states "For all regular tourism, business and personal visits, upon requested, applications can be processed instantly and the visa can be issued on the same day of receipt.". The website needs to be a little more accurate with their details.

If you are not Vietnamese and just American citizen, as of 01/24/17, the cost for a 1 month 1 time visa to Vietnam is $80.00. You pick it up about a week afterwards. You need 1 passport photo, your passport, and $80. Credit cards and debit is not accepted. Only cash, or money order. I was the only one there on a Tuesday noon. Very quick service.
