About

A behind-the-scenes career exploration program.

Mission

The Teen Museum Studies program is designed for high school students interested in exploring career paths in the museum field. Through workshops, lectures, and staff interviews, students in the program will examine the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis’ directorial, curatorial, programming, fund-raising, and marketing efforts. The program provides students with the opportunity to put their new museum studies knowledge to the test as they ultimately organize, curate, and oversee their own temporary exhibition.

I was shocked by how great this museum was! I couldn't believe it, like all of the other museums in St. Louis, was free! Amazing peices by KAWS while I was there.

Loved the special exhibits. A bit small but at it is free! A lot of thought provoking art and not at all crowded on Friday evening. I also like that it is open until 8 on certain days.

I don't always get "contemporary art" but this -- and it's neighbor The Pulizer". -- are wonderful places to explore. Always interesting, always neighborly, and Free.

Very small and the "art" is very unimpressive. I found it to be a colossal waste of 45 minutes. The staff was friendly, but it was like putting lipstick on a pig.
