ABOUT OUR STORE
The Branson Copper Jewelry Store opened it's door in Aug. of 1996. People from all over the world eventually come through the door, if nothing more than out of curiosity. They leave filled with the knowledge of how copper affects the body, and in most cases leave with a high quality handmade copper and zinc bracelet. BENEFITS OF WEARING COPPER
The use of copper for medicinal purposes is found throughout recorded history. The world’s oldest medical texts, the Eber Papyrus, states, “Treat inflammation with pulverized copper”. Today, thousands of years later, pharmacies around the world offer copper bracelets as a first aid for joint pain and swelling.

MACHINE-MADE VS. HAND-MADE HANDCRAFTED
Stamping machines work fast , but their tons of pressure de-form the crystal lattice of the metal making it ridged an brittle. We make each of our bracelets by hand and take the time to heat-treat them so they are malleable. Feel the difference simply by adjusting one of our bracelets to fit your wrist.
OUR METALS-
Are solid with no plating to wear off. Pure Copper: 100% copper, lead free and mercury free. Jeweler's Brass 85% copper, 15% zinc, both essential to health. German Silver: 65% pure copper plus zinc, nickel, and silver. These bracelets are solid with no plating to wear off.

COPPER BRACELETS & GREEN WRISTS
Occurrences of green wrists due to wearing copper bracelets vary depending on the body chemistry of the wearer and, if desired, are easily washed off. Many expect an occasional green mark to show that the copper “is working”. Copper combines with sweat, and forms compounds called chelates, which are assimilated by the body. Green deposits occur when chelates are formed faster than they are absorbed.
MAINTENANCE
Sergio bracelets are made to be worn at all times. They are coated with a thin lacquer that is meant to wear off with use. We use solid metals, wear them in the shower to keep them clean and use a polishing cloth to rub off any blemishes or scratches.
