On a recent trip from Florida Cortland Auto went above and beyond to squeeze me in on a busy day & to assist for my return home. Having been a previous customer when we lived in Cortland I knew where to go with my problem & felt comfortable leaving my car in their hands. My friend and I just started our trip to up-state New York, when I noticed the temperature gauge was just about to 'H'. A local gave directions to Cortland Auto Repair. He completing a few diagnostics but nothing specific could be found. He suggested that it would be in our best interest that we not continue. He gave me some ideas to tell my mechanic based on his tests and filled the radiator. He gave us a container of water in case the car started to overheat on the way home. After all of this, he did charge us for anything! I really felt that he was looking out for my best interest. So even though I didn't get to my destination, I got home safe and sound. That is what is important. These are people you can trust! Thank you!

Broke down about 2 hrs before closing hours. They got us in and put two guys on replacing the alternator, and had us out in about an hr or less. Owners are very personable and friendly. We chatted for sometime about various subjects. Met their pug. The shop is clean and everything is run like a well oiled machine(no pun). They know their stuff. The price was fair and similar in cost to other alternator replacements. I felt I could trust the owners's word.
