Lower rating because they don't honor national park system senior passes. The grounds are acceptable, but little more. Not any trouble finding a space, but you're really not alone, as nothing separates the sites. No showers, along with signs telling you not to wash yourself in the sink. We considered going on to Spider, but were too tired. Again, acceptable, but well below the standard I expect at national parks and monuments.

It has all services except Internet. Spacing is a little close but not too bad. Bus or shuttle service steps away. Not to for from the camp services where you can shower for $2 and coin laundry.

Cheap place to camp in winter. Water wasn’t working and bathrooms were spartan. Sites were $14 per night, so mainly just a place to park. But close to the park. We pulled in late and used one of the parallel spots, just leaving our truck attached.

We stayed here in October of 2015 and had no problems with transients or stray dogs. The campground was very nice and shady. We had no problem finding a space for our Class A , 35' , Motorhome. Just be prepared before camping here as there is no water or other hookups. We enjoyed using our lanterns and could run our generator for a short time, if needed , but it really wasn't.

nice campground. large and spaced out. clean and fairly quiet, near the road but that's up over a berm. right at the entrance to the park.
