We stayed on the 1st floor of this hotel, which I usually don't like, but the room was fine and I didn't hear anyone stomping above our head. Upon entering the room I noticed a strange smell, so I opened the patio door to air out the room. I'm not sure if the smell eventually left or if I no longer noticed it. The room was spacious and the ceiling low, so if felt very cozy. A bit more storage space would have been nice, but we made due with what was available. There was also a nice, comfy office chair at the desk. The two sinks in the room, one in the bathroom and one just outside the bathroom, were a huge plus in expediting the process for getting ready in the morning. The bed and pillows were comfortable and we slept well. There is also in-room coffee and tea as well as a refrigerator and microwave. It's always a plus when hotels provide both coffee and tea. Outside of each room is a patio or balcony and a large courtyard with a fire pit and sitting area. Most of the patios and balconies had two chairs, but ours had none. There was also broken glass on the patio, which I reported. Someone was sent out to clean it up, but I guess he couldn't see it, because it was still there when we left. There is a self-serve complimentary hot breakfast with plenty of choices and hot coffee is available in the lobby throughout the day. I may have misread the breakfast options on their website, but I was expecting to be able to order some simple items like a breakfast wrap and I didn't see that option being offered. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and the small library in the lobby. The hotel is outdated, but clean. One thing that I would recommend is that the hotel consider getting new bath towels. This may seem petty, but after drying off I noticed tons of tiny white cotton fibers all over my skin and I couldn't wipe them off. Otherwise, everything was fine and we'd stay here again.

Made reservations weeks ahead for ships reunion, arrived early evening to find they had us coming in next day. There were about 30 or so coming at this time. Took over an hour to find us a room, think they had to clean one. Got our room keys, "cards" that did not work. Over four nights we spent had to have key cards redone three times and they would work some times. Our room was one of the farthest from the office. I'm 83 and that was a lot of walking. Very friendly at the desk but didn't show much interest in fixing the problem. There were others in the group that had the same problem. Other than this frustrating problem it was a good stay.

The hotel seemed nice at first glance. We got to our a room and when we entered we got hit with this horrible musty moldy smell. When I let the front desk person know they said thank you we will let maintenance know. Really?? Thanks for actually caring. The tub would fill up while taking a shower and took about 2 hours to drain. There was also mold in the grout in the shower. I am very disappointed overall with the disregard to my concern. I very rarely review hotels because it doesn't take much to keep me happy but this was not good. My clothes in my suitcase smelled moldy and musty when I got home. I would never stay at this hotel again.

I love Country Inn & Suites! Never had a bad experience at one. This one is a little dated in decor but I believe they're undergoing renos soon. Staff is friendly and breakfast is top tier.

My room was nice and comfortable but insonorisation is average. I could hear my neighbors talk and their TV. The shower is due for renovation. The breakfast is good. The pool looks very nice.
