Stayed 4-11, I walked into lobby and smelled marijuana and cigarettes, I had no problem with that since I knew it was 4-11 and a smoking hotel, plus it was cheap so no problem, not the Ritz. A woman ahead of me wanted to stay another night and the front desk clerk said she would have to pay a 200 or 300 dollar fine first, I don't remember the exact amount, because the maid said she was smoking marijuana in her room. They called the manager, I do not know if the issue got resolved. I checked in while this was going on went to my room. Got off elevator and immediately smelled marijuana. I had a non smoking room and when I came in no smell but lots of fabreez. Then I wondered was this a scam...that maid could very well say I too was smoking mj in my room. She did not witness the woman actually smoking a joint but still pointed a finger and they slapped a fine on her. My point is, I'm an old white lady business woman who easily could have smoked a joint and that young black woman just as easily could not have! If she paid that money she deserves her money back. My advice to her is get a lawyer! I come up to that area a lot but I will not be staying there!

All the negative reviews are likely coming from pretentious people who expect more from a 2-star hotel. The only thing negative about this place is that while the hotel claims to have "free breakfast", it's really just some muffins and coffee. Luckily, there's a Kwik Trip next to the hotel that's within walking distance.

The staff who work here are super great! They are kind and helpful from the frony desk to housekeeping!!This hotel is pretty nice. Its great to have a kitchenette so we don't have to eat out or microwave daily. I would stay here again and also recommend!

DONT EVER SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!!!! After spending the entire night at the airport and day at an outdoor festival I just really wanted to check in order some dinner and get some sleep. First off no one is ever at the front counter I had to wait 10 mins for someone to pick up the damn phone to help us. The lady found our reservation, but they were sold out I am not sure how that can possibly happen I had already purchased 2 nights.I can understand and I was way too exhausted to be angry. I do not blame the lady at the front, because it probably was not her fault but she had absolutely no customer service skills. She acted like it was a big inconvenience for her to help us find a place to stay as we are not familiar with the area. The second she could she retreated to the back never to be seen again.

Not a bad place for the price. Lots of shopping near by. Older place but decent comfortable rooms.
